Hanseatic Global Terminals (HGT) and Grupo Imetame - joint venture partners in HGT Aracruz - signed an agreement with Sany for the supply of key container-handling equipment, including Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes and Rubber-Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes for the new greenfield terminal in Aracruz, Espírito Santo, Brazil. This agreement marks a key milestone in the development of the project and reflects the joint venture partners’ commitment to building a world-class terminal. By combining operational efficiency, sustainability, and scalability, the terminal will be well positioned to support future growth and address rising customer demand.

Officially established in June 2026, the new container terminal in Aracruz, Brazil, represents a significant investment in the country’s port infrastructure. By improving access to global trade routes and enhancing regional logistics connectivity, the terminal will play a key role in supporting trade growth and strengthening the region’s position within international supply chains.
